Okay... so part of the fun of taking a road trip is all the random "stuff" you see by the side of the road.
Most of it goes by far too fast to get a picture of.
That doesn't mean we can't share.
Here's a (partial) list, so far... just 5 days in!
* An Asian man? woman? walking down the street in front of Starbucks, with a live parrot on either arm. Okay, not so much walking as dancing. Did I mention the parrots were live.
* A filthy SUV, with the words "We Love You Mom, Happy 40th Birthday" written in the dust on the back window. Do they not love her enough to wash her car?
* A young (early 20's) man? woman? with a 5-o'clock shadow, sideburns, and breasts rocking out to some sort of show-tunes (we hope) on his/her IPOD. Dancing theater-style through Yosemite wearing purple hose and heels. Oh, and (s)he seemed to be an off duty employee!
* A road sign (the green kinds, with the helpful arrows) pointing the way to the local cemetery and recycling. In the same direction. Gives "reusing" a whole new spin, dontcha think.
* The Tsunami Diner. Orders to go.
* (In a sweet moment) a momma deer and 2 babies crossing the road in front of us. They then stopped and looked back, giving us their blessing to move on.
I'm sure there will be more. :-)
